![]() Hurrah for EA Canada, because the latest title Fight Night Champion has a story mode which manages to inject a bit of charisma into the series. Legacy mode in the previous instalments has always fallen short, offering little in the way personality and charm, making it difficult to emotionally invest in your boxer. However, one thing that has always been lacking from the franchise is a riveting and engaging career mode. More recently, 2009 release Fight Night Round 4 earned our respect thanks to its fluid, fast-paced gameplay and wealth of extras. The franchise continued to evolve and innovate and in 2006 video game fans were treated to the graphically superior next-gen instalment Fight Night Round 3, which at the time featured the finest visuals ever seen in a video game. The Fight Night series has offered a consistently solid boxing experience since it introduced 'Total Punch Control' back in 2004.
